Rizal is currently attached to SME Corporation Malaysia as the Deputy CEO (I). SME Corp. is a government agency mandated to spearhead the development of small and medium enterprises, strategise the policies and directions, coordinate SME programmes among ministries and agencies, as well as the secretariat to National SME Development Council (NSDC) chaired by YAB Prime Minister of Malaysia.His primary responsibility is to drive the strategic SME development with respect to Economic Policies, SME Master Plan and SMEIPA agenda, business development, internationalisation of SMEs, coordination of programmes and increasing e-Commerce adoption among SMEs which will ultimately increase Malaysia's GDP, exports and job creation. Prior to joining SME Corp, Rizal has 6 years of transformation experience with PEMANDU, a unit under Prime Minister's Department to strategise and drive the National Transformation Programme.
